La Ruina (www.laruina.com) is a restored 200 year old colonial house. It is perfectly situated in the center of the Historic Central District, recently honored with Unesco World Heritage standing. Beyond the entry is a small patio with a fountain, followed by a beautifully furnished and comfortable living room with 2 fireplaces. Beyond that is a dining room which opens onto a plant filled patio and a well equipped Mexican tile kitchen. There are three bedrooms- two masters each with queen size bed, t.v., fireplace and full Mexican tile bath. In addition there is a smaller bedroom(9X15) with a single bed and full Mexican tile bath. This room also functions as a study, as it has a functiona desk.La Ruina is especially appropriate for two couples.

We are a very short walk to two parks(The Jardin and Juarez Park), galleries, cafes and fine shops.
We are also a short walk from theatre, cinema, the library, a large market, grocery and specialty cheese shop.
There is a new museum right nearby. Thermal Pools are a cab or bus ride away. Horseback riding, tennis, golf, gyms and a botanical garden are a short cab ride away.

Come arrivare?

We hire a driver to pick us up at BJX airport in Leon or the airport in Queretero to bring us to our door. Both are between an hour and an hour and a half away.
