Gran Bretagna / Scotland South / Edinburgh

  

Hello I have a lovely home in the beautiful city of Edinburgh . I love travelling especially to warm places and enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I host many foreign students who come to my city to either improve their English or to attend one of the many Universities...When the weather is nice I enjoy gardening, going to theatre and comedy shows, eating out and having friends and family visit. Ideally I would like to do a home swap for a couple of weeks holiday or month or two The Canary Islands appeal during the winter...I would swap with someone who would be happy to possibly just have one or two lovely bright bedrooms and use of kitchen and bathroom in a fantastic area of Edinburgh rather than someone requiring the entire property., but open to ideas... Anywhere warm and sunny where a car isn't necessary would be very appealing!Sorry I don't know the sqft of the property but is spacious with gardens.

Elementi d'interesse

All the attractions of Edinburgh are within very easy reach of my home.... Castle, Palace, numerous museums ,Art galleries, historical buildings, parks, botanical gardens. Golf courses, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium....Edinburgh Zoo riverside walks, canal, beaches.... cycle paths, hills/ dry ski slopes.. All the tourist attractions, many pubs restaurants .
Within 5 minutes walk of the house there are cafes, bars, shops, banks everything you could need.

Come arrivare?

Arriving is very easy..... the airport is approx. 15 minutes drive away - taxi cost is approx. £10 or a bus can be taken which arrives at the top of my road which is about 5 minutes walk away.
From the same bus stop there are several buses which go into the city centre very regularly. We are also close to the new tram line and within easy reach of Waverly and Haymarket train stations.
